Gordons Guesthouse is located in a small village 10 minute drive from Loughrea. We have a Cafe downstairs which opens at 9.30am and serves breakfast and lunch Including a large array of sandwiches, burgers, salads, pastas, and our speciality is pancakes!!!
We are well known for our pancake menu which includes bacon and Syrup, fruit and granola, chocolate brownie pancakes, ice cream pancakes and so much more!!! Our pancakes are gluten free and we have an array of gluten free options on our menu on a daily basis Including breakfast, sandwiches, Lasagne, special fried Rice, our ever popular Budda bowl and much, much more.
We are extremely child friendly with a kids corner full of books, games, and toys for children to play whilst you eat in comfort.
No need to book, just come on in and we will find you a seat in one of our nooks and crannys.
Our building is 300 years old and it has held its traditional charm and old fashioned style, both upstairs, with a modern twist in the rooms and downstairs in the Cafe where its comfy, cosy and welcoming to everyone.
Please note we do not sell alcohol, however if you are staying here you can go next door to Spar to purchase wine and we will provide glasses if you would like to relax in front of the fire or Harneys pub next door opens Wednesday through Monday if you would like to sample some Guinness. A taxi can also be arranged to go elsewhere.
We also offer full board rooms with dinner served in the evening at 6pm from May - September in the Summer months. This is particularly suitable for families with small children as they can relax and don't need to go out too late to eat. Don't hesitate to call me to enquire about any of the above on 086 1513137.
